January
See in the New Year with an Italian celebration and fireworks in the piazza. Or simply snuggle up in front of the fire, after a brisk but bright day.
February
Although cold, there is generally plenty of sunshine to be enjoyed, and the underfloor heating and log fire at Trullo Solari will ensure you'll enjoy your winter break.
A supply of logs is included in your rental.
March
As spring breaks through, cherry and almond blossom can be enjoyed across the valley and spring flowers fill the fields.
April
The days are warm, but Puglia is still quiet. A great time to explore the surrounding towns, markets and scenery.
There are many festival processions over Easter. One of the 3 days of celebration in Taranto (45 mins) is especially worth the trip.
May
Soft fruits such as cherries, mulberries and fiorone (early figs) are in abundance, markets are full of spring vegetables and the fields are full of wild flowers. This is a fantastic season.
June
Enjoy the countryside and the beaches before the crowds arrive. Days are pleasantly warm, and the nights clear.
July
The real start of summer. Enjoy a day on the beach or by the pool, followed by a summer festa or concert. Famous classical concerts in nearby Martina Franca run from mid July to mid August.
August
August in Puglia is hot. Explore the beaches and get plenty of rest during the day to ensure you are full of energy for the many festivals that take place throughout the region during summer.
Or simply put your feet up by the pool, light the bbq and enjoy the peaceful countryside.
September
As the blazing heat of high summer subsides, enjoy pleasant days and some spill-over festivals such as the Jazz festival in Lecce, or buskers in Martina Franca.

October
The weather is still pleasantly warm and Puglia is peaceful again after the summer parties. You're free to explore the fantastic scenery and sights without the crowds.
November
With the release of the year's Novelle wines, and the start of the olive harvest, this is a busy season for the local Pugliese. Depending on conditions, it should be possible to help the owners with the harvest if you would like; and enjoy the excitement of tasting what comes back from the mill!
December
The perfect venue for a Christmas party, the trullo sleeps eight comfortably, and more could be accommodated - please let us know your requirements.
The fantastic local cuisine and wine will ensure that this will be a Christmas to remember
